# Gap pass A, 2026-10-01

Candidates (hero.jpg + row-NN.jpg, max 2000px, JPEG q85, EXIF-transposed) are in
`img-candidates/<slug>/`, each with a `_manifest.json` (source name, original and output size).
Nothing under `img/` was touched. Source roots: **PF** = `~/SynologyDrive/Since Today/PORTFOLIO/Archive/`,
**PFR** = `~/SynologyDrive/Since Today/PORTFOLIO/`, **B01** = `/Volumes/Backup_01/Project Archief/`,
**B02** = `/Volumes/Backup_02/Project Archief 02/`, **B03** = `/Volumes/Backup_03/`, **STW** =
`~/SynologyDrive/Since Today/WEBSITE/since-today-site/`, **STM** = `~/SynologyDrive/Since Today/system/memory/domains/since-today/projects/`.
Backups 01, 02 and 03 were all mounted. Zips were read, not unpacked; only the chosen entries were
rendered to the candidate folders. Temporary copies in /tmp (HKU type PDFs, RAW previews) were deleted after the run.

## Read this first: seven current rows are wrong on the facts

Each is evidenced under its project below. The proposals replace them.

| Row | What werk.yaml says | What the archive and public sources say |
|---|---|---|
| 1 Kruyd | blurb names Gwenda Jakobs | Violates the no-names rule. Also "Michelin kitchens across four cities" is only in the ST draft case hook, not in any source I could open. |
| 17 Van Bostelen | "brand identity and custom typeface for the artist Herman van Bostelen, 2008 to 2020, continued through Since Today" | The typeface is Jonathan's own 2007 design, named after his teacher. No commission. STM `van-bostelen/van-bostelen.md` (decision 2026-09-07), Devroye, Neo2. |
| 16 Fingertype | "No archive files survive" | They do. `B01/Studie/HKU.zip` holds `fingertype.ai`, `fingertype.pdf` (A3 specimen), `fingertype.indd`, the visual essay. |
| 35 Fontanel | "A brand for a font foundry", "2008" | Fontanel is a Dutch online design magazine; the identity is for its relaunch, invitation "Vrijdag 5 februari", files 2009-07 to 2010-01. Adformatie, 8 Feb 2010. |
| 36 AdemRuimte | "2012 to 2021", "nine years" | Ademruimte is Calmspaces' 2019 prototype space at The Grey Space in the Middle. The 2012 is zip file-date noise. |
| 37 TENEO | "2016", "Identity for a consultancy" | Teneo is a 2014 prototype from the Sandberg@Mediafonds masterclass (14th edition). Not a consultancy. |
| 34 HCAK Revisited | "A website for an art centre" | A May to June 2012 commemoration across six Hague institutions; the work is poster, programme, publication and website. |

Also: row 15 claim says "delivered fully digital under lockdown", but the COP26 final was hybrid (transcript 00:00:14).
Row 42 says 2021 but the Baby Groente Box recipe cards date from Sept/Oct 2018. Row 43's "festival in 2016" is confirmed by photo EXIF (28 and 29 May 2016, Designkwartier ran 27 to 29 May 2016).

## 1 Kruyd (brand), slug `kruyd-brand`

| Field | Content |
|---|---|
| Images | hero = `STW public/images/work/kruyd/hero.jpg` (tins in kraft box, photo, 2:3 matig). row-01 `reservoir.jpg` (photo), row-02 `theebouquet_trio.jpg` (photo), row-03 `bartine-first-2022-12-18-a.jpg` (in the world, photo), row-04 `field_summer.jpg` (the garden, photo), row-05 `logo-wordmark-black.png` (system). All five already sit on the draft ST case, so no new publication surface. Existing `img/kruyd-platform/` set is platform-heavy; these fill the brand origin. |
| Risks | bartine-first shows a shop sign (retailer named on kruyd.nl too). Hero is only 2048px (known, STW kruyd.yaml). The wordmark is a transparent PNG flattened onto white. |
| Row line | A herb brand built whole, from a seventeenth-century name to the shelf, with Since Today. |
| Blurb | As part of the Since Today team, Jonathan took Kruyd from the name to the shelf. The name is the old spelling of kruid, taken from a 1678 treatise on tea printed in The Hague. Around it a hand-drawn wordmark, a stoneware vessel closed with cork, paper bags, tins and a webshop, unchanged since launch. It sits on a few chosen shelves and in restaurant kitchens, without a sales team. |
| Sources | `STW src/content/work/kruyd.yaml` (draft case: naming, vessel, packaging, "without a sales team"); https://www.kruyd.nl (Wassenaar grower, Chefs selection, retail partners in Den Haag, Leiden, Arnhem); Bontekoe imprint 's-Gravenhage: Pieter Hagen, 1678, https://www.dbnl.org/titels/titel.php?id=bont009trac01 |
| Consent | nodig-gwenda (werk.yaml) |
| Ask Jonathan | Start year 2020 (werk.yaml, first product screenshots 18 Nov 2020) or 2021 (ST draft, LinkedIn Feb 2021)? Is "Michelin kitchens across four Dutch cities" true and sourceable? Keep "without a sales team"? Roles in the naming/identity/packaging: which parts were yours? |

## 14 ING Annual Review (via Fabrique), slug `ing-annual-review`

| Field | Content |
|---|---|
| Images | Rendered from `PF/Project ING Annual Review/ING Jaaroverzicht 2013.pdf` (29 pp, InDesign CC, PDF made 21 Mar 2014): hero = p1 cover (man at a window, 2:3 ja), row-01 p6 "Eenvoud is niet eenvoudig", row-02 p8 "Duurzaamheid is niet duur", row-03 p10 "Leve de sociale digitale revolutie!", row-04 p7 text spread. Zero photographs of a physical object, so by the recipe this stays a ledger row unless Jonathan wants these as artefact shots. The two PF mockup JPEGs (2800px) are a generic template render and were not used. |
| Risks | Colophon: "Design: Fabrique, Technology: MagStream, Photography: Suzanne Karsters". Third-party photography needs her credit. Lifestyle models, identifiable faces. p4 carries the CEO portrait (not selected). Vertrouwelijkheid: only the published review, Fabrique in credits. `B01/FABRIQUE.zip` holds `ING.zip` (4.2GB) and `Akzo.zip` (2.8GB) as nested zips; I did not unpack them (would write 4GB of client material to disk). |
| Row line | The Dutch-language annual review of a bank, made through the agency Fabrique, with Since Today. |
| Blurb | As part of the Since Today team, Jonathan worked on ING's yearly review through the agency Fabrique, which is credited with the design. The 2013 edition, a Dutch-language summary of the group annual report, came out in March 2014 as an interactive PDF. |
| Sources | The PDF colophon (p. 54: "Design: Fabrique", published with the Annual Report 2013 of 21 March 2014); `lowman-client-index.md:40` ("ING (via Fabrique), annual review art direction, editorial, agency sub-contract"). |
| Consent | nodig-gwenda, Fabrique in credits (werk.yaml) |
| Ask Jonathan | Your role, in one phrase (art direction? layout? editorial?). Which editions: the archive PDF is 2013, werk.yaml says 2013 to 2019 and master-index "2019 selected"; files 2013 to 2017 only. Do you have a 2019 piece? "Interactive PDF": MagStream is named as technology, confirm. |

## 15 DFCD Scalable Climate Solutions Challenge, slug `dfcd-challenge`

| Field | Content |
|---|---|
| Images | Only public YouTube thumbnails exist locally (`PF/Project WorldStartup/DFCD/thumb-*.jpg`, FMO channel). hero = main film title card (earth, 1280x720), row-01 Bangladesh landscape card, row-02 Uganda card (480x360, letterbox cropped). No photograph, so by the recipe no lead: stays a ledger row. Finalist cards (names, portraits) deliberately not selected. |
| Risks | Low resolution. Drone and satellite footage is not Jonathan's. Finalist portraits and company names are personal data. Client numbers (fund size, 100+ applications) appear in the transcript and news page: not used. |
| Row line | Visual system, videos and keynote decks for a climate fund's innovation challenge, with Since Today. |
| Blurb | As part of the Since Today team, Jonathan designed the visual system, the call-to-submit videos and the keynote decks for the Scalable Climate Solutions Challenge of the Dutch Fund for Climate and Development, run by WorldStartup through 2021, and produced the hybrid final at COP26 in Glasgow. |
| Sources | `PF/Project WorldStartup/DFCD/bronnen.md` (role line, nine FMO videos dated 25 Jan to 24 Nov 2021); `DFCD/cop26-final-transcript.txt` ("this is a hybrid event", 00:00:14; WorldStartup hired to help manage the fund, 00:00:50); `jl-master-index.md` row 15. |
| Consent | nodig (werk.yaml: credit agreement with WorldStartup plus Gwenda) |
| Ask Jonathan | Drop "fully digital under lockdown" (final was hybrid)? Your own working files (decks, call-to-submit assets): maybe in mail or WorldStartup systems, they would give the only real lead image. Is "produced the hybrid final" accurate for you, or only the graphics for it? |

## 16 Fingertype, slug `fingertype`

| Field | Content |
|---|---|
| Images | hero = A3 specimen from `B01/Studie/HKU.zip` `HKU/Eindexamen 03/Eindexamen '07/typefaces/printen/fingertype.pdf` (pink, alphabet of fingerprints). row-01 `letterproef.pdf` (same folder), row-02 `quote2.pdf` ("Out of the thousands of typefaces, all we need are five basic ones"), row-03 the Beware! page image `resonance-map/beware-fingertype.gif.webp` (450x641, clearest view of the fingerprint letters). No photograph: flat specimens, stays a ledger row by the recipe unless you accept a specimen lead. Do not use `resonance-map/fingertype-specimen-hires.jpg`: it comes from a Brazilian agency page that uses the face uncredited. |
| Risks | The letters are fingerprints: whose? Biometric trace of a person, ask before publication. HKU.zip is a damaged zip64 (offsets wrong); readable with an offset fix, see note at the end. `letterproef` is unclear and may be a test. |
| Row line | A typeface whose letters are made from fingerprints, drawn in 2007. |
| Blurb | Fingertype is an alphabet built from fingerprints, drawn in 2007. Luc Devroye's type index lists it, and the French design magazine Beware! gave Jonathan, then working as Lowman, a feature in May 2009 that included Fingertype. |
| Sources | https://luc.devroye.org/fonts-48417.html ("Fingertype (2007, letters made from fingerprints)"); https://bewaremag.com/graphisme-lowman/ (Erwan Manchec, 11 May 2009, tags include digital fingerprint work); `B01/Studie/HKU.zip` (file dates April 2008); `resonance-map/resonance-map.md` §3d. |
| Consent | vrij (werk.yaml) |
| Ask Jonathan | Whose fingerprints? Was it the HKU final-year project (folder "Eindexamen '07", but file dates run 2008 and the graduation invite is 2009)? Which year is the degree? |

## 17 Van Bostelen, slug `van-bostelen`

| Field | Content |
|---|---|
| Images | hero = A3 specimen `HKU/.../typefaces/printen/van-bostelen.pdf` (mint, the alphabet of triangles and circles). row-01 `PF/Project Van Bostelen/van-bostelen in gebruik/Screen Shot 2017-01-22 at 13.51.33.png` (the Neo2 download page), row-02 `.../Screen shot 2011-03-10 at 15.13.14.png` (pink lettering by another designer), row-03 `.../Screen shot 2010-11-17 at 23.33.15.png` (diamond lettering), row-04 the Unit. invitation (`B01/Herman Van Bostelen.zip` `Unit Utrecht/unit_uitnodiging_digitaal2.jpg`). No photograph. |
| Risks | row-02 and row-03 are screenshots of other people's work; maker and rights unknown. The other 11 "in gebruik" files show fashion models (one partly nude) in third-party editorials: excluded. Walsh poster and Borealis cover in `resonance-map/` are third-party works and named people: only with their consent. The Unit. invite lists around twenty designers by name. |
| Row line | A geometric typeface in two weights, drawn in 2007 and named after a teacher. |
| Blurb | Van Bostelen is a geometric typeface in a light and a heavy weight that Jonathan drew in 2007 and named after Herman van Bostelen, one of his teachers. It was published free by the Spanish design magazine Neo2, and turned up on other designers' posters and screens in the years after. |
| Sources | https://luc.devroye.org/fonts-48417.html ("Van Bostelen Light and Heavy (2007)... named after one of his teachers, Herman Van Bostelen"); https://www.neo2.com/tipografias-gratuitas-van-bostelen/ ("diseñada por Lowman / Jonathan Looman para la revista Neo2", no date on page); `STM van-bostelen/van-bostelen.md` and `van-bostelen-publiek.md` (decision 2026-09-07; sixteen sightings 2010 to 2017); `B01/Herman Van Bostelen.zip` (`VanBostelen.otf` 2008-11). Unit. Kunstliefde Utrecht, 13 to 29 June 2008: the invite names both Herman van Bostelen and Jonathan Looman; no independent web source found. |
| Consent | vrij (werk.yaml). Check that Herman van Bostelen is fine with the name (note in van-bostelen.md). |
| Ask Jonathan | Was the typeface shown at Unit. in 2008? Neo2 date (2007 per Gwenda, no date on the page). Keep "turned up on other designers' work" (true, 16 files) but not the Walsh credit unless you clear it. |

## 33 Art-S-Cool, slug `art-s-cool`

| Field | Content |
|---|---|
| Images | New find: `B02/Art-s-cool/` was not in the contact-sheet roots. hero = quarterly agenda, Oct to Dec 2019, calendar side (p2 of `Agenda Folder drukwerk/Agenda ASC Q4/New_Drukwerk_Agenda_Art-S-Cool_2019Q4.pdf`), row-01 agenda Jan to Apr 2020 cover, row-02 agenda March to June 2022 cover, row-03 Instagram post mockup (`01 Huisstijl vanaf 2018/01 Website/Mock up berichten/`), row-04 `PF/Project Art-S-Cool/launch_website-asc-1.jpg` (600px render). No photograph of the printed agenda exists; recipe says ledger row. |
| Risks | Row-01 and row-02 show identifiable children (minors) in photographs by third parties (file names credit Ilona Noworacka for the 2022 agenda, Inge van Mill, Bart Benschop, H. Tasheva elsewhere). The business cards in the archive carry a named person's phone and address: excluded. 04 Archief, 08 Fia and the invoicing folders hold client operations: not browsed beyond file names. Funder logos on the agenda covers. Row-04 is a stock-style render, 600px. |
| Row line | Brand, website and printed agenda for an arts school in The Hague, with Since Today. |
| Blurb | As part of the Since Today team, Jonathan works on Art-S-Cool, the art school of The Hague's Schilderswijk: the visual identity from 2018, the website, and a quarterly printed agenda in red, blue, green and yellow. It is still in maintenance. |
| Sources | https://www.art-s-cool.nl ("dé kunstschool uit de Haagse Schilderswijk", Ferdinand Bolstraat 33); folder names `01 Huisstijl vanaf 2018`, `Agenda Folder drukwerk` (PDFs 2019Q4 to 2022); `STM client-attraction/st-project-master-index.md` (2013 to 2026, many invoices). |
| Consent | nodig-gwenda (werk.yaml) |
| Ask Jonathan | Start year: 2013 (index), 2015 (font notes), 2018 (identity folder), 2019 (werk.yaml). "Education programme" in the current blurb: I found no education programme made by you, only identity, website, agenda and the Bij Schrift publication. Which of the three agenda covers may show children? |

## 34 HCAK Revisited, slug `hcak-revisited`

| Field | Content |
|---|---|
| Images | hero = `PF/Project HCAK/ST_Portfolio-HCAK-001.tif` (black poster on yellow, 2:3 matig), row-01 `-004.tif` (folded programme), row-02 `-008.tif` (red folder), row-03 `-009.tif` (spread), row-04 `PFR/SELECTIE-Portfolio Shoot 17-09-2020/DSC00945.JPG` (publication in daylight), row-05 `Project HCAK-website/Screen shot 2012-06-15 at 11.33.42.png` (the site). Four photographs, one screenshot: passes the recipe. TIFs are 3508x2480; EXIF Canon EOS 400D, 10 May 2013. |
| Risks | Partner logos legible on the poster (Heden, JCA de Kok, Vemak, 1646, Ruimtevaart/Nest), as in the printed original. Text in the publication is the artists' own writing. The st-project-master-index said the TIF sources were missing; they are in PF. |
| Row line | Poster, programme and website for a 2012 look back at an artist-run Hague art space, with Since Today. |
| Blurb | As part of the Since Today team, Jonathan worked on the identity for HCAK Revisited (May to June 2012), a look back at the Haags Centrum voor Aktuele Kunst, an artist-run space on the Wagenstraat from 1978 to 1996. The work runs from a black poster with a drawn loop to a folded programme, a publication and a small website. |
| Sources | https://michielmorel.nl/haags-centrum-voor-aktuele-kunst-revisited/ (HCAK 1978 to 31 Dec 1996, Revisited May to June 2012 across six institutions; opening 5 May per a comment); the poster itself ("opening 5-5-2012"); `STM client-attraction/st-project-master-index.md` (campaign, poster, programme; partners Heden/GEMAK/Vrije Academie/1646/JCA de Kok/Ruimtevaart/Nest). The Morel article credits no designer. |
| Consent | nodig-gwenda (werk.yaml) |
| Ask Jonathan | Your role (poster only, or the whole identity and the site)? "Drawn loop": hand-drawn or constructed? Publication: did you set the book as well? |

## 35 Fontanel, slug `fontanel`

| Field | Content |
|---|---|
| Images | hero = `B01/Fontanel.zip` `Fontanel_Ident_work_FILES/03 PRESS/mockup/P1010576.JPG` (the diamond mark on a phone screen; EXIF Panasonic TZ6, 17 Dec 2009, your camera family; dark and weak). row-01 relaunch invitation `optie08.png`, row-02 pattern/mark `Picture 5.png`, row-03 two mark variants `fontanel06.png` (1043px), row-04 style-sheet page `Fontanel_huisstijl13.jpg` (561px, low). One photograph, so under the recipe's two; hero is not a strong photograph. |
| Risks | The business card (`Picture 19.png`) carries a named person's phone number and is excluded. Invitation shows a venue and date. The inspiration folders are third-party material: not used. Row-02 to 04 are low resolution. |
| Row line | The identity for the 2010 relaunch of a Dutch online design magazine. |
| Blurb | Fontanel was a Dutch online design magazine, relaunched in early 2010. Jonathan, then working solo as Lowman, drew its identity: a diamond mark in colour and pattern variants, a relaunch invitation and a style guide. |
| Sources | https://www.adformatie.nl/creatie/design/fontanel-online-design-magazine (new site online the week before 8 Feb 2010); invitation text "Re-launch party... Vrijdag 5 februari" (5 Feb 2010 was a Friday); `B01/Fontanel.zip` (files 2009-07 to 2010-01, folder "Fontanel Identity 2009"); `resonance-map.md` §3 (Fontanel.nl interview about Fingertype). |
| Consent | vrij (werk.yaml) |
| Ask Jonathan | The relaunch site: did you also design or build it, or the identity only? Was Fontanel a client or a friends project (the READ ME is addressed to four people)? |

## 36 AdemRuimte, slug `ademruimte`

| Field | Content |
|---|---|
| Images | hero = RAW preview `PF/Project AdemRuimte/Fotos/P1140506.RW2` (frosted-glass window vinyl, tagline, EXIF Panasonic GF2, 11 Sept 2020). row-01 `P1140498.RW2` (wood door), row-02 `P1140494.RW2` (flyer on wood), row-03 `light.jpg` (ripple floor), row-04 render `B01/Adem Ruimte.zip` `02 SKETCH/Render/ademruimte.jpg`, row-05 `03 PRES/Banner_02.png` (tall banner, 696x2000). Three photographs: passes. The 25 RW2 files were never in the contact sheet. |
| Risks | `light.jpg` EXIF Artist is Beer van Geer (Calmspaces initiator), 28 May 2019: credit him or skip. The window says "Book your session at www.ademruimte.eu" (public URL, check it is live). Other PF photos (`LauraJacobs_20191019_LAJA9264.jpg`, `LIZ_8722`, `front`, `side1/2`) show identifiable visitors and carry third-party credits: not selected. Funder logo assets (Stimuleringsfonds) in 01 BRIEF: not used. |
| Row line | Identity, banner and print for a breathing room, a prototype public space for rest, with Since Today. |
| Blurb | As part of the Since Today team, Jonathan made the identity for Ademruimte, a 2019 prototype of a public space for rest and silence that Calmspaces built during a residency at The Grey Space in the Middle in The Hague. A halftone wordmark, window vinyl, a tall banner and flyers carry it. |
| Sources | https://thegreyspace.net/projects/ademruimte-calmspaces/ (2019 residency, first prototype, sensor, light and sound); https://thegreyspace.net/program/a-grey-space-weekend-2019/ (Ademruimte 22 to 23 Nov 2019); `PF/Project AdemRuimte/04 FINAL/ademruimte_woordbeeld_*.png` (halftone variants); `STM rebranding/fontgebruik-per-project.md` (2019 to 2021). |
| Consent | nodig-gwenda (werk.yaml). Calmspaces is a third party: beleefdheidsmelding advisable. |
| Ask Jonathan | End year 2020 or 2021? Who is the client, Calmspaces or The Grey Space? Did you also do the window vinyl and flyers, or only the wordmark and banner? |

## 37 TENEO, slug `teneo` (note: `teneo-b` belongs to another pass)

| Field | Content |
|---|---|
| Images | hero = `B01/Teneo.zip` `MasterClass/Ontwerp/Eindpresentatie/7jun_012.jpg` (stage with the Teneo screen; 800px). row-01 process sketch (`Process/theconcept/masterclass-process-presentation 10.jpeg`, network of venture funds, pink pen), row-02 slide v0118 ("Naar wie vloeit de waarde die jij genereert op deze succesvolle diensten?"), row-03 slide v0119 (you, Google, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn), row-04 slide v0128 (phone). One photograph, under the recipe's two. The existing `img/teneo/hero.jpg` is not repeated. |
| Risks | **Hero EXIF: "(c) 2012, 31pictures, all rights reserved": a third-party event photographer. Do not publish without a licence or credit.** PF `TENEO_app.jpg` and `TENEO_mockup.jpg` show a real person's name (Marleen Stikker) typed into the app: not used. Other slides (v0121, v0133) carry portraits of named billionaires: not used. The masterclass participant list in `Docs/` has everybody's phone and email: not read further. |
| Row line | An app prototype that shows what your data is worth, made for a 2014 media masterclass. |
| Blurb | TENEO was Jonathan's prototype for the 2014 Sandberg@Mediafonds masterclass: an app that estimates what a person's internet use earns the companies behind it, and who ends up with that money. He worked on the concept, the interface in blue with outlined lettering, and the final presentation in June 2014. |
| Sources | `B01/Teneo.zip` `MasterClass/Docs/140113_info_SATM_masterclass.pdf` (14th edition, start 16 Jan 2014, Jonathan listed in team 8); `Docs/140403 Concept Who owns the internet_vs_0.4.doc`; `Docs/140518 Script TENEO-jon.docx` ("Dit is Teneo, een gepersonaliseerde app die calculeert... wat jouw internetgebruik waard is"); `Teneo-presentatie.mp4` (2014-08). No public web trace found for the project. |
| Consent | nodig-gwenda (werk.yaml). A masterclass team of two: the other member and Mediafonds/Sandberg are third parties. |
| Ask Jonathan | Was this Since Today work or a personal masterclass project? Is "2016" real (a later app identity round) or a slip for 2014? Which parts were yours (the script file is named "-jon")? Do you have your own photos or a recording still of the presentation? |

## 38 Various Artists, slug `various-artists`

| Field | Content |
|---|---|
| Images | hero = `PF/Logo Types/Various Artisit/various_artists.jpg` (the poster photographed on grey, 2:3 ja). row-01 poster WEB (`B01/Various Artists.zip` `04 FINAL/variousartists1_poster_WEB.jpg`), row-02 "Sign Various Artists up" wanted poster, row-03 social icon "Various Artists & More", row-04 "VA" brush monogram. One photograph, under two. |
| Risks | Posters and flyer name three performers (Eklin, Safe Swim aka Fatherfutherback, Tomlaan) and a venue. The `01 BRIEF` folders hold other people's photography references: not used. |
| Row line | Brush lettering, posters and flyers for a one-night mini-festival in a small Hague club, 2011. |
| Blurb | Various Artists was a mini-festival in "the smallest club in The Hague", one night on 4 February 2011. Jonathan drew the brush lettering that carries it, the poster, a wanted-poster variant for the performers, the flyers and a social icon. |
| Sources | Flyer text (`B01/Various Artists.zip` `04 FINAL/VA1-FLYER-PRINT/VA1-FLYER-PRINTACHTERKANT.pdf`, PDF dated 2011-01-04): "Various Artists is een mini-festival in de kleinste club van Den Haag... 4 februari"; poster text "330 LIVE, FEB 4". 4 Feb 2011 was a Friday. |
| Consent | vrij (werk.yaml) |
| Ask Jonathan | "2009 to 2011": I only find one night, 2011. Were there earlier editions? Was it your event (own venture) or a client's? Is the lettering yours? Is Safe Swim / Fatherfutherback your own alias (your archive has a Father Futureback folder)? |

## 42 Baby Groente Tas, slug `baby-groente-tas`

| Field | Content |
|---|---|
| Images | hero = `B01/Babybox.zip` `Babybox/wetransfer-738dfa/P1.jpg` (three parsnips, 6000x4000), row-01 `wetransfer-bfc15f/DSC01322.JPG` (chopped parsnip and sweet potato), row-02 recipe card Oct 2018 (`press/receptenkaarten_24_10_2018.pdf` p1), row-03 `press/BOX-TAS_logo3.jpg`. Two photographs: passes narrowly. |
| Risks | Both photographs are Sony A6000, 5 Sept 2018, in a "wetransfer" folder: probably client-supplied, photographer unknown. The recipe card carries a stock baby photo (dreamstime) and partner logos. **The information sheet (`BOX-TAS_informatiesheet.pdf`) shows a named person's email address and researcher names: I removed it from the candidates; never publish it.** The 2021 foundation and any retainer figure stay out. |
| Row line | Identity, recipe cards and a Webflow site for a baby food foundation, with Since Today. |
| Blurb | As part of the Since Today team, Jonathan designed the identity and the recipe cards for the Baby Groente Box, a 2018 research pilot that brought fresh vegetables and baby recipes to parents, and later the brand and Webflow site of the Baby Groente Tas foundation, which started in 2021. |

| Ask Jonathan | Who photographed the food? Is the 2018 pilot yours to show, and under which year do you want the row (2018 pilot or 2021 foundation)? Do you hold a licence for the stock baby photographs? |

## 43 Clubhuis, slug `clubhuis`

| Field | Content |
|---|---|
| Images | All from `B01/Clubhuis.zip` `Process/edited/` (708 edited frames; EXIF Panasonic GF2, 28 and 29 May 2016, which matches Designkwartier Den Haag 27 to 29 May 2016). hero = `Best/Clubhuis-Dag02-101.jpg` (shopfront with the CLUBHUIS window lettering, 2:3 ja), row-01 `Dag 03/Clubhuis-Dag03-182.jpg` (framed line-drawn print), row-02 `Dag 03/Clubhuis-Dag03-140.jpg` (window list of participating studios), row-03 `Best/Clubhuis-Dag02-99.jpg` (interior), row-04 `Best/Clubhuis-Dag03-76.jpg` (table with prints), row-05 `Dag 03/Clubhuis-Dag03-12.jpg` (cushions). Five photographs: the best photographic set in this batch. The earlier pass saw only 50 thumbnails and the Fresh Perspectives mockups. |
| Risks | Window lettering names five studios, among them Since Today. Hero shows one visitor from behind; many other frames show identifiable visitors and an artist (not selected). Photographer unknown (GF2, same model as your AdemRuimte shots): confirm. The Fresh Perspectives interior mockups are stock photographs: do not use. |
| Row line | Prints and branding for a pop-up gallery at Design Kwartier in The Hague, 2016, with Since Today. |
| Blurb | As part of the Since Today team, Jonathan made two print series for the Clubhuis, a pop-up show in a shop space on the Spui in The Hague during Design Kwartier in May 2016: sixteen line-drawn landscapes with halftone skies, and black-and-white raster prints at bus-shelter size. |
| Sources | `STM rebranding/clubhuis-designkwartier.md` (two series, 16 images, four print sizes, ordered 31 Aug 2016 and 21 Nov 2017, decision 2026-09-09 not a case); `B01/Clubhuis.zip` (folder "Clubhuis aan het Spui", brochure "Spui 216 A", EXIF dates); Designkwartier 2016 dates via https://festivaldesignkwartier.nl/over-festival-designkwartier and architectuur.nl. No public web source for the Clubhuis itself. |
| Consent | nodig-gwenda (werk.yaml). Decision 2026-09-09 (Gwenda): not a case, one ledger entry with the two series together. |
| Ask Jonathan | Who made the prints, and who made the CLUBHUIS wordmark (was the identity yours)? Was Clubhuis the festival's hub, or a separate show at Spui 216a? Who took the photographs? |

## 50 The Century Expanded Deconstructed (type specimen)

No material found. Searched: all of `HKU.zip` (names), `Typographicartstuff`, `Dont Believe the Type`, `DBTT III`, `Johan - Typo`, `Johan`, `Lizzy`, `GVD`, `Graphic Design Festival`, `Father Futureback`, `Comfort Fit`, `Fish-eye`, `Maestro`, `Six Pack`, `Analog Attack`, `ESPN` and `Fontanel` for century / dictate / deconstruct / expanded / specimen; PF `Project_letters` holds only a Lumbar Puncture screenshot and a font. Web search returns only the historical Century Expanded (Benton, ATF 1900), no Lowman specimen. Row stays as is. Ask Jonathan: where did you see or make it (book, Behance, an exhibition)? If you have the file, drop it in `PF/Project_letters/`.

## 51 The Typeface Dictates the Message, slug `typeface-dictates-message`

| Field | Content |
|---|---|
| Images | **Unconfirmed match.** hero = HKU `quote3.pdf` (a quote set in Van Bostelen), row-01 `quote1.pdf` (Barnbrook-style quote on the 26 shapes), row-02/03/04 `Eindexamen 03/Oefeningen/verfletter/poster A3/Lowman-poster002/001/004.jpg` ("This says nothing", "You need to focus" in blur, "ABC and then what..."), March 2009. All flat, no photographs. |
| Why I think it fits | Jonathan's HKU essay brief (`Eindexamen 03/visual essay/vragen.rtf`) sets out to show that "ornamentlettervormen met een unieke vorm op meer lagen communiceren... emotioneel kunnen prikkelen en sturen voor dat er een woord is gelezen" and to set quotes in his own typefaces. That is the same idea as the row title. |
| Row line | (hold) If confirmed: "Posters in which the letterform says more than the words, made at HKU in 2008 and 2009." |
| Blurb | (hold) Jonathan's HKU final project asked whether an ornamental letter communicates before a word is read. He set the quotes of the essay in his own typefaces and made a series of posters where the form decides how the sentence lands. |
| Sources | `B01/Studie/HKU.zip` `HKU/Eindexamen 03/visual essay/` (`vragen.rtf`, `structuur.rtf`, `intro-text.rtf`), `HKU/Eindexamen 03/Eindexamen '07/typefaces/printen/quote1..3.pdf`. Row 51's "personal exploration" blurb fits this reading. |
| Consent | vrij (werk.yaml) |
| Ask Jonathan | Is this the project? If not, what is it. quote1 reproduces a Jonathan Barnbrook text (essay intro): quoting him needs care. |

## 52 Lowman, studio, slug `lowman-studio`

| Field | Content |
|---|---|
| Images | hero = `B01/The Sting.zip` `The Sting/Expositie/Sweatshop/_MG_1631 2.JPG` (a wall of T-shirts in a shop, EXIF Canon 400D), row-01 `Rip-Pics/Raam-Display01.JPG` (window lettering), row-02 `Rip-Pics/ripoff.jpg` ("LOWMAN 2008 / The Sting/Non Grada 2009"), row-03 `B01/Lowman_mixtape/front01.jpg` (CD sleeve "Detroit Jazzin", 500px), row-04 `resonance-map/beware-lowman.jpg` (Beware! feature). Three photographs. Resolution is low on three. |
| Risks | The Sting folder also holds fax invoices (names, amounts): never use. `wit-allebei.jpg` shows two identifiable models: excluded. Mixtape is a personal DJ release; samples and track titles are third-party. |
| Row line | Jonathan's own studio, working as Lowman from 2007, before Since Today. |
| Blurb | Jonathan worked under the name Lowman from 2007: typefaces, posters, T-shirts, record sleeves and club identities for friends, shops and magazines, until his work moved into Since Today in 2011. |
| Sources | `B01/Herman Van Bostelen.zip` `Unit Utrecht/self text.rtf` ("werkend onder de naam Lowman. Is sinds 2007 als zelfstandig ontwerper begonnen"); https://bewaremag.com/graphisme-lowman/ ("a commencé son expérience typographique en 2007"); `chronological-work-index.md` (Lowman 2007 to 2011/13; ST founded June 2011). |
| Consent | vrij (werk.yaml) |
| Ask Jonathan | werk.yaml says 2010 to 2012; all sources say 2007 onward. Which window do you want? "Several early clients carried over": which ones may be named? |

## 53 Typefaces, slug `typefaces`

| Field | Content |
|---|---|
| Images | hero = `PFR/TYPE FACES/Denneweg/IMG_1319.JPG` (house number 54A, iPhone 3G, 27 Feb 2011, source of the Denneweg face). row-01 Fingertype A3, row-02 Van Bostelen A3 (HKU PDFs), row-03 `Lumbar puncture/Screen shot 2011-06-29 at 12.36.30.png` (708px), row-04 `Zauberer/Scan-numbers.tiff` (found numerals, 13476x6672), row-05 `VormStein/P1020351.JPG` (calligraphic blue strokes, EXIF TZ6, 27 Mar 2010). Two photographs: passes. `PFR/TYPE FACES` was not in the contact-sheet roots: it holds 16 more projects (Lumbar Puncture, Shadowboxing, Zauberer, VormStein, Denneweg, Valencia, Black-Lacker, Glyph, Future Flash, Classic Hooks, Swipetv, Gwenda) with 41 VormStein photographs. |
| Risks | The house number shows a real address fragment. `Zauberer/img001.tif` is a 1930s book jacket (Mungenast, "Der Zauberer Muzot"), the visible source for that face: third-party artwork, not used. `Valencia/01 BRON` images look downloaded, not yours. A face named "Sexshop" exists in the HKU set: left out. "Gwenda" folder holds a typeface file with a team member's name: not used. |
| Row line | Typefaces drawn from fingerprints, geometry and found lettering, 2007 to 2011. |
| Blurb | Jonathan draws type from things that already carry letters: fingerprints for Fingertype, triangles and circles for Van Bostelen, a house number and an old book jacket for later experiments. He took part in a type exhibition in Utrecht in 2008, and French design press covered the first two in 2009. |
| Sources | Devroye, Beware! (above); `PFR/TYPE FACES/` folder and EXIF dates (2010 to 2011); the Unit. invitation (Jonathan Looman listed, 13 to 29 June 2008) and `self text.rtf`. |
| Consent | vrij (werk.yaml) |
| Ask Jonathan | werk.yaml says "2007 to now": I find nothing after 2011 except a 2018 screenshot of Lumbar Puncture. Is anything newer? Which of Fingertype / Van Bostelen / Drop were in the Unit. show (the invite lists names, not works)? |

## 54 Logos and marks, slug `logos-and-marks`

| Field | Content |
|---|---|
| Images | hero = a composite I built (`img-candidates/logos-and-marks/hero.jpg`, 3x3: Amongst Friends, Comfort Fit, Fontanel, Lefto, Various Artists, Tight, Fudge, Drop, Unity), not a photograph and not an archive file. row-01 Lefto, row-02 Comfort Fit badge, row-03 Amongst Friends, row-04 Tight (all `PF/Logo Types/`). No photograph: by the recipe a ledger row. |
| Risks | The composite is my construction for selection, flag it as such. Marks for clients and labels (Unity FM, Fudge, Tight, Lefto): maker, client and consent unknown. `Logo Types/Screen Shot 2013-03-05` ("Tjen Jur", red) and `AB` hexagon unidentified. Low resolution (500 to 850px) on Lefto, Amongst Friends, Tight. |
| Row line | Early logo marks for clubs, labels and friends, from the solo years. |
| Blurb | The marks were drawn between 2007 and 2011 for clubs, labels and friends, among them Lefto, Comfort Fit, Amongst Friends and Various Artists, most of them lettering first and symbol second. |
| Sources | `PF/Logo Types/` (46 files); `chronological-work-index.md` (Comfort Fit 2006 to 2009, Amongst Friends 2009 to 2010, Unity FM 2009, Fudge 2007); werk.yaml notes. |
| Consent | onbekend (werk.yaml). Fontanel and Various Artists are your own. |
| Ask Jonathan | Which of these were for clients, which were your own? Is the 2016 end year real? Can Lefto, Comfort Fit, Amongst Friends be named? |

## 56 Drop (collective), slug `drop`

| Field | Content |
|---|---|
| Images | hero = `B01/Drop.zip` `Drop/Drop#6/vormgeving/Bron beeld materiaal/J1920x2560-10374.jpg` (four 3D wooden letter blocks on paper, a snapshot, Kodak CX7525 with a wrong clock). row-01 `BRON/posters/pdf:posters/A2/poster01x2.pdf` (Drop #1, "19 OKT FRIDAY", Overtoom 141 Amsterdam, ADE), row-02 `Drop#4/flyerfinal/drukker/flyer-a6-front.tif` ("SAT 23 FEB", cassette night), row-03 `Drop#5/Design/cdsleeve.tif` ("2nd May Friday"), row-04 HKU `drop.pdf` (the Drop typeface). One photograph, under two. |
| Risks | The 2,777 entries include thousands of party photographs with identifiable faces (`Drop#6/Fotos`, `Drop#3`, 394 in `Pers en footage`): none selected. Posters and CD sleeve list line-ups (DJs, a sponsor and ADE logos), a MySpace URL. `Drop shared folder/office` and `Financieel` (sponsor money) not opened. |
| Row line | A hip-hop and art night in Amsterdam and Antwerp: logo, posters, flyers and CD sleeves, 2007 to 2009. |
| Blurb | Drop was a night for hip-hop, beats and art, begun in Amsterdam in October 2007 during the Amsterdam Dance Event and later also held in Antwerp. Jonathan made its wood-grain logo, A0 posters, the cassette-night and ADE flyers and a CD sleeve, and drew a typeface for it. |
| Sources | The printed material itself (19 Oct 2007 was a Friday, 23 Feb 2008 and 25 Oct 2008 were Saturdays, 2 May 2008 a Friday); `resonance-map/resonance-map.md` §3b (Google Site archived at web.archive.org/web/20210212144627/https://sites.google.com/site/dropsumthin/, MySpace, Drop #1 expo Oct 2007, Drop #6 Beatdrop ADE; friends page lists "Lowman" under ART); `chronological-work-index.md` (Drop.zip, Amsterdam + Antwerp). Wayback was rate-limited (429) during my run, so I did not re-check it. |
| Consent | onbekend (werk.yaml) |
| Ask Jonathan | werk.yaml says about 2007 to 2011, the prints I see end in 2008 and your map says 2007 to 2009. Founder, co-founder or designer in the crew? Did you also DJ (the flyer lists "JLS & Lowman")? The Drop typeface: is it the Drop logo letters turned into an alphabet? |

## Summary lists

### No material found
- Row 50 The Century Expanded Deconstructed: nothing in any index I could read, nothing on the web.
- Row 51: only an unconfirmed candidate (HKU quote and verfletter posters).
- Row 15 DFCD: no own working files; only public thumbnails. Row 14 ING: no photograph of a printed piece, and the nested `ING.zip` and `Akzo.zip` (7GB) not opened.
- No project here has a usable, own, high-resolution photograph for every slot. Passes the two-photograph rule: Kruyd, HCAK Revisited, AdemRuimte, Baby Groente Tas (narrowly), Clubhuis, Typefaces, Lowman studio. Ledger-row outcomes by the recipe (no lead photograph): ING, DFCD, Fingertype, Van Bostelen, Art-S-Cool, Logos and marks, Typeface Dictates the Message; weak (one photograph): Fontanel, TENEO, Various Artists, Drop.

### Needs Jonathan (in order of how much it changes the page)
1. Fix the seven wrong rows (table at the top): 17, 16, 35, 36, 37, 34 and the Gwenda name in row 1.
2. Roles in one phrase per ST row (14, 15, 33, 34, 36, 42, 43) and TENEO (ST work or masterclass).
3. Start years: Kruyd 2020 or 2021, Art-S-Cool, AdemRuimte end, Lowman 2007 vs 2010, Drop end, Typefaces "now".
4. Rights: TENEO stage photo (31pictures), AdemRuimte `light.jpg` (Beer van Geer), the ING photographer credit (Suzanne Karsters), BGT food photographs and stock babies, Art-S-Cool children photographs, Fingertype fingerprints.
5. Row 51 identification, row 50 location.
6. Possible new row: the 2008 exhibition "Unit." (Kunstliefde Utrecht, 13 to 29 June 2008) and the HKU final-year type project as one entry; both are documented in the archive.

## Method notes

- `B01/Studie/HKU.zip` (24GB, 15k entries) and several others have zip64 header offsets that are wrong by multiples of 4GB, so `unzip` and Python's `zipfile.read` fail with "Bad magic number". The scripts in `/tmp/gapA/zfix.py` retry at `offset - k*2^32`. The same fault is probably what blocked PowerHouse spread-02 in the st-project-master-index (different file).
- Fingerprint, name and address filters: I read file names, EXIF Artist/Copyright, PDF text and colophons; I did not open mail, WhatsApp or any invoice, and I did not contact anyone.
- Web checks done: Devroye, Neo2, Beware!, Adformatie, Morel (HCAK), thegreyspace.net, babygroentetas.nl, art-s-cool.nl, kruyd.nl, DBNL (Bontekoe). Not verified publicly: Clubhuis, TENEO, Unit. 2008, the Drop MySpace.
- Contact sheets for my own selection: `/tmp/gapA/ver0.jpg` to `ver3.jpg` (candidates), plus source sheets per project in the same folder.
