# Gap pass C, teaching rows, 2026-10-01

Row id = `nr` in `werk.yaml`. Candidates sit in `img-candidates/teaching-<nr>/` (hero.jpg, row-NN.jpg, `_sources.tsv` with source path, source size, output size, note). All 2000 px max, JPEG q85, EXIF-transposed, each viewed by me on a contact sheet before and after conversion. Archive roots: `PF` = `~/SynologyDrive/Since Today/PORTFOLIO/Archive/`, `EDU` = `~/SynologyDrive/Since Today/EDUCATIE/`, `K03` = `/Volumes/Backup_03/Hypergarden/Projects/KABK/`, `FBX` = `input/Jonathan/facebook-583277895-17-6-2026-Y1q0I18V/your_facebook_activity/`, `IGX` = `input/Jonathan/instagram-jonathanlooman-2026-01-14-sStWLpWK/`. Row 22 and 23 left alone, as asked.

Risk codes: **ID** recognisable person, **STU** student work or student name, **CRED** third-party credit or rights, **RES** low resolution, **3P** third-party content inside an own slide.

## What this delivers, in six lines

1. **The 13 generic KABK photos are wrong for 7 of the 8 rows.** `img/kabk/` is almost entirely pages of the Future Office booklet (row 21) plus one 2023 brick-bed photo and one student maquette. Two pages carry student names, others carry student work and visitors. Verdict per file below.
2. **De Binnentuin (2018 to 2019) and the 2023 brick-bed garden are two different gardens.** The 2018 to 2019 garden is a spiral of stacked crates in a small brick courtyard. The photos on file as "Fanny Noel" show brick beds, a pond and bamboo in the big courtyard with trees. Public `@kabk_gardens` on 2023-02-01 asks gardeners to "restore our wonderful Binnentuin **or** work on the Prinsessegracht courtyard", and on 2023-03-02 calls the second one "the maker's garden ... taking place in the Prinsessegracht courtyard". Rows 26, 27 and 29 currently treat them as one.
3. **The 143 "Fanny Noel" photos are probably Jonathan's own.** All 143 are Sony ILCE-7M3 files dated 2023-07-03. The 89 files that record a body serial carry `aeff0000d908`, the same serial as files on Jonathan's own `Sony_SD01` card (dated 2023-01-15); the other 54 record none. This changes the consent logic of row 29 (see Ask Jonathan).
4. **Two `werk.yaml` claims are not supported by any source I could open:** row 21 "on the future of work" (the event text is about solution design for real-world problems) and row 26 "now in the institution plan" (the Green Office consultation says it will "directly inform the Institutional Plan 2025-2030", it does not say the garden is in it).
5. **Strong, public, own-voice anchors exist for the garden:** Jonathan's own post of 2019-10-02 ("the greenlight for the future developments and improvements") with a clean overhead photo of the finished crate spiral, his own course description (Nov 2018), kabk.nl Design / Research Club page naming him, Vimeo 783874224.
6. **Row 30 has no photo material that is free of students.** Only own slides (Prep Year Week 01 deck) qualify. I opened no assessment, grade, student list or poster folder.

## Verdict on the current `img/kabk/` files

All 16 files are the same set for rows 19, 20, 21, 25, 26, 27, 29 and 30. Origin traced via `beeldmanifest-v2.md` and by viewing.

| File | What it is | Belongs to | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|
| `hero.jpg` | Photo of the Future Office booklet cover (`PF/Project Future office/PRINT/P1030692`-type shot) | row 21 | **Right for 21 only.** Wrong for the other seven rows. |
| `photo.jpg` | `K03/Fanny Noel/DSC08538.jpg`: brick bed, wooden plant label, 2023-07-03 | row 29 (Makers' Garden) | **Wrong for 26 and 27** (not the crate garden). Right subject for 29. |
| `graphic.jpg` | `PF/Workshop Workshop/page_007.jpg`, "SPACESHIP EARTH" slide | row 23 | **Wrong** for all rows here; belongs to WORKSHOPWORKSHOP. |
| `process.jpg` | `K03/.../DesignForLife_process/IMG_8288.JPG`: cardboard maquette with a student's hands | row 26 by subject | **Wrong**: student work and student hands, fails the KABK/AVG rule. |
| `row-01.jpg` | Booklet p1, "Future / Office" typographic page | 21 | OK for 21 only |
| `row-02.jpg` | Booklet p2, Introduction text | 21 | OK for 21 only |
| `row-03.jpg` | Booklet p3, Metamodel for solution design (slide credits a third-party video) | 21 | OK for 21 only, 3P credit line |

| `row-06.jpg` | Booklet p11, street photo from a student project | 21 | **Wrong**: STU |
| `row-07.jpg` | Booklet p15, exhibition photos with visitor and red annotation | 21 | **Wrong**: ID, STU |
| `row-08.jpg` | Booklet p20, research map and sketch | 21 | **Wrong**: STU |
| `row-09.jpg` | Booklet p37, team page with three student names | 21 | **Wrong**: student names |

| `row-11.jpg` | Booklet p49, "The Problem" research page | 21 | **Wrong**: STU |
| `row-12.jpg` | Booklet p50, research page | 21 | **Wrong**: STU |

Net: of 16 files, 4 are usable for row 21 (hero, row-01, row-02, row-03 with a credit note), 1 belongs to row 23 (graphic), 1 belongs to row 29 and must not sit on 26 or 27 (photo), 10 fail the privacy rules (process, row-04 to row-12).

## Correcties op bestaand materiaal

| Wat | Waar | Bevinding | Bron |
|---|---|---|---|
| "future of work" | `werk.yaml` row 21 `claim`/`blurb` | Not in any source. Own event text: "a collective exercise in solution design ... define a real world problem, formulate a group vision, analyses the inefficient or corrupt power structures and conceptualise possible alternatives". Likely inferred from the title. | `FBX/events/your_events.json` ("Future Office - 2nd year I/M/D/ exhibition", created 2014-01-08); `Basic_LinkedInDataExport.../Projects.csv` "Future Office" |

| "six groups" | event text | Booklet has five team chapters (p7, 17, 27, 37, 47). Do not print a number. | `PF/Project Future office/Future Office 2014/` |
| "now in the institution plan" | `werk.yaml` row 26 `claim` | Unsupported. The consultation (Green Office, 13 March 2025) "will directly inform the Institutional Plan 2025-2030"; I did not find the plan or any line that places the garden in it. | "COURTYARD GARDEN" on the floor plan = jullie tuin | dossier section 7f | Probably the Makers' Garden, not De Binnentuin: public posts keep the two apart (2023-02-01) and place the Makers' Garden in the Prinsessegracht courtyard. The crate garden sits in a smaller brick courtyard whose building I could not identify. | `@kabk_gardens` posts 2023-02-01, 2023-03-02 (`kabk_gardens-posts-2026-09-02.json`) |

| "photos by Fanny Noel" | `werk.yaml` row 29 | Camera evidence says Jonathan's body. Fanny's graduation project is the subject, not necessarily the photographer. | Sony serial match, see above |
| I/M/D end date | row 19 `jaar_eind 2015` | Own text for the 1 June 2018 Design / Research Club says "Next year I will be teaching at I/M/D department. Fear-Hope deck is 2016. | `K03/00 Research_Club/Session 01/v01.rtfd/TXT.rtf` |

## Table per row

### 19 I/M/D, Connecting the Dots (2012 to 2015)

| | |
|---|---|
| Images chosen | `teaching-19/hero.jpg`: title slide "CONNECTING THE DOTS", blue type on white (rendered from `EDU/Fear-Hope/businessmodelofhope.pdf` p1, 4000 px). `row-01.jpg`: own slide photographed on screen, "CONNECTING THE DOTS / Why?" plus the paragraph "You need to develop a concise understanding of the world you are part of" (IG 2013-01-29, 612 px). `row-02.jpg`: slide "How old is the web?" (IG 2013-02-04, 612 px). `row-03.jpg`: poster wall "I/M/D is not defining I/M/D" (IG 2014-12-17, 640 px). |
| Why | These are the only dated, own, student-free traces of the course itself. No photo of a lesson is usable. |
| Flagged risks | **RES**: three of four are phone photos of 612 to 640 px. **Dating**: hero is a 2016 deck (after the 2015 end). `row-03`: person seen from behind (hair, no face) and **authorship of the posters unknown** (own design, or students?). Not chosen: Fear-Hope p2 (students in a classroom), p4 (alumni name list). |
| Proposed row line (104) | Course design and teaching for first-year Interactive/Media/Design students at the Royal Academy of Art. |
| Proposed blurb | Jonathan taught first-year students of the Interactive/Media/Design department at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. For the semester that began in early 2013 he prepared the lessons of Connecting the Dots, a course whose opening slides ask students to build a clear understanding of the world they are part of and of their own role in it as designers, users, consumers and citizens. |
| Sources | Own IG 2013-01-29 "Preparing the lessons for this semesters first years students I/M/D at the Royal Academy of Art"; IG 2013-02-04 "Preparing lesson number two of Connecting The Dots for the first years I/M/D students at the KABK" (`IGX/.../media/posts_1.json`, `FBX/posts/your_posts__check_ins__photos_and_videos_1.json`); slide text read in `teaching-19/row-01.jpg`; own FB group posts to "IMD Teacher - ALUMNI 2016" Feb 2013 (links, an email to a visiting speaker); `teaching/kabk-work-inventory.md` timeline; manifest folders `2012 : 2013`, `2013 : 2014`, `2014 : 2015` (`teaching/data/imdzip-manifest-summary.md`). |
| Consent per werk.yaml | `nodig` (KABK). Own slides themselves are vrij. |
| Ask Jonathan | (1) Which years exactly, and was there a break before 2018 (see Correcties)? (2) Did you design the course or inherit a format? The posts say "preparing the lessons". (3) Is the poster wall your design? |

### 20 I/M/D Open Day (2013 to 2015)

| | |
|---|---|
| Images chosen | `teaching-20/hero.jpg`: signage cluster "STUDENTS / Lessons Lectures / Workshops / JOIN" plus the programme sheet (`PF/Project IMD-openday/41.jpg`). `row-01.jpg`: taped poster "I/M/D... your mom" (`12.jpg`). `row-02.jpg`: poster "I/M/D... DIY" above a drinks table (`14.jpg`). `row-03.jpg`: torso in a black "FUTURE" sweatshirt, no head (`08.jpg`). `row-04.jpg`: empty hall with framed I/M/D sign, one distant visitor from behind (`77.jpg`). `row-05.jpg`: "Welcome to I/M/D" sign on the stairs (IG 2015-01-30, 640 px). |
| Why | Signage, posters and shirts are exactly the claim. All six are free of recognisable people. EXIF of the PF set reads 2015-01-31, matching the own post "We are ready for open day tomorrow" (30 January 2015). |
| Flagged risks | **RES**: PF exports are 1000 px wide. The roadmap and identity (`.ai`, `.indd`) live only in `imdzip.zip > KABK - IMD/Openday/` (302 entries), which I did not extract. **CRED**: photographer unknown. **STU**: `row-03` stands next to a server-rack installation (student work, only the shirt is the point; consider cropping). Not chosen: every shot with faces (about 60 of 88), `34.jpg` and `49.jpg` (posters but visitors visible), `31.jpg` (brochure "Royal Academy of Art ... YOUR FUTURE IN ART & DESIGN", the academy's own printed piece, probably not yours). |
| Proposed row line (98) | Signage, posters and shirts for the open days of the I/M/D department at the Royal Academy of Art. |
| Proposed blurb | Design work for the Interactive/Media/Design department's open days: signs and posters in black condensed type on white paper, and black sweatshirts printed "FUTURE". Photographs of the open day on 31 January 2015 show the hall with hanging lamps and framed statements such as "I/M/D... being comfortably courageous with the ever changing present moment". |
| Sources | `PF/Project IMD-openday/` (88 jpg, EXIF 2015-01-31); own IG/FB 2015-01-30; manifest summary (`Openday/`: `screenshots` 167, `open day ideas 2nd years` 19, `spaces` 14, `t-shirst` 7, `Roadmappart3.rtfd`); `jl-master-index.md` row 20 ("identity, signage, t-shirts, roadmap"). |
| Consent per werk.yaml | `nodig` (KABK; student image consent undetermined). With the chosen set no student is identifiable. |
| Ask Jonathan | (1) 2013 and 2014 open days: any evidence? Only 31 January 2015 is dated. (2) Which parts are yours (identity, signs, shirts, roadmap) and which came from students ("open day ideas 2nd years")? (3) Who took the photographs? (4) May I extract only `Openday/` from the zip for higher-resolution files? |

### 21 Future Office (January 2014)

| | |
|---|---|
| Images chosen | `teaching-21/hero.jpg`: the booklet cover, shot from above on a grey table (`PF/Project Future office/PRINT/P1030692.tif`, 2826 px). `row-01.jpg`: second angle (`P1030703.tif`, 3317 px). `row-02.jpg`: crop of booklet p25, empty gallery room with picnic table, umbrella and fir trees. `row-03.jpg`: crop of booklet p36, wooden installation in the gallery with one tiny distant person. `row-04.jpg`: booklet p2, Introduction ("Creative Destruction is a concept ..."). `row-05.jpg`: booklet p3, Metamodel diagram. |
| Why | Cover and booklet are Since Today's own design (cover line: "2014 Concept and design Since Today - Photography Ana Valls"). `row-02` is an exhibition view with nobody in it. |
| Flagged risks | **CRED/STU**: the cover credits a photographer who also appears as a student author inside the booklet; the booklet's exhibition photos are by that credit line. `row-03` is a student installation (object only, no name). `row-05` slide credits "Design for Social Change, by Rizwan Tayabali" (**3P**). Booklet pages with team chapters list three student names each: not used. The opening-night video (`FBX/posts/media/videos/10151892994057896.mp4`, 15 s) shows many identifiable visitors: not usable. Poster banner "Future Office" (red line, blue type) is only visible in video frames, no clean file found. |
| Proposed row line (101) | Second-year solution-design exhibition at the KABK Gallery, with booklet and identity by Since Today. |
| Proposed blurb | Future Office was a collective exercise in solution design for second-year Interactive/Media/Design students: define a real-world problem, formulate a group vision, analyse inefficient or corrupt power structures and conceptualise alternatives. Groups had two months. The exhibition opened on Friday 17 January 2014 at the KABK Gallery on the Prinsessegracht and ran until 23 January. Since Today designed the booklet. |
| Sources | Own FB event, created 2014-01-08 (`FBX/events/your_events.json`): "Opening: Friday 17 January 4pm ... Six groups have had two months ... Opening hours: 18 - 23 January"; own LinkedIn `Projects.csv` "Future Office" (Jan 2014, URL `facebook.com/future.office.program`, same text); booklet cover credit (read at 200 percent on `P1030654.tif`); Issuu "Future Office 2014", 2014-05-29 (`jl-press-and-talks.md` row 85, Issuu not re-opened by me). The Facebook page itself returns a login shell logged out, so its text was not readable. |
| Consent per werk.yaml | `nodig`. |
| Ask Jonathan | (1) Your role: tutor, organiser, or both? `werk.yaml` has `rol: null` and the sources only show that you created the event and Since Today designed the booklet. (2) Did Since Today also design the exhibition identity (posters, banners)? The video shows a matching poster but I have no file. (3) Remove "future of work" (see Correcties). (4) Ok to name the photographer, or leave the credit out? |

### 25 Research Club, Design and the Deep Future (2018 to 2019)

| | |
|---|---|
| Images chosen | `teaching-25/hero.jpg`: the HyperGarden wall of baskets with bean poles at The Grey Space (`K03/00 Research_Club/Design and the Deep Future/HyperGarden_GS_2018_02.jpg`, 1920 px). `row-01.jpg`: the same garden from above (`GS_2018_04.jpg`). `row-02.jpg`: bee on oregano (`GS_2018_03.jpg`, 4032 px source). `row-03.jpg`: own diagram "HedgeBlocks v2.0" (`Session 01/HyperGarden_presentation.pdf` p3, PDF created 2018-06-01). `row-04.jpg`: same basket in March, April and June 2018 (`HYPERGARDEN_TheGardians_lowres.pdf` p6, created 2018-06-07). `row-05.jpg`: coloured-pencil design drawing of the courtyard garden (`PRESENTATIE/IMD_introduction_presentation_AUG_2018.key/Data/Greenspace17-4318.jpg`, 2480 px). |
| Why | The research object is HyperGarden. These are the garden itself, the system diagram and the time series that answer the research question. No people. |
| Flagged risks | `row-03`: circle photos in the diagram are small third-party crops (**3P**). `row-05`: authorship of the drawing is my inference (style and project), confirm. All six probably overlap `img/hypergarden/` (same project): check for duplicates before use. Not used: Session 01 p7 (contact slide with a phone number), Session 02 slides showing student models and a floor plan drawn by a student (name in the title block). `IMG_4446.JPG` shows Jonathan himself on a ladder (own person, optional). |
| Proposed row line (102) | Own research question on growing food in stackable baskets, shared in the KABK Design / Research Club. |
| Proposed blurb | In 2018 Jonathan took part in the Design / Research Club of the KABK Design Lectorate, a forum for tutors and researchers of the academy and Leiden University. His research question: "Is it possible to use stackable retail baskets to grow edible crops in an urban environment? And which polycultures and planting gilds can survive and thrive longterm with as little inputs as possible." The work is HyperGarden, a low-cost vertical garden built from reused wire baskets at The Grey Space in The Hague, used to monitor 40 planting combinations. |
| Sources | Question and 5-to-7-minute format: `K03/00 Research_Club/Session 01/v01.rtfd/TXT.rtf` (his own text, spring 2018); `kabk.nl/en/lectorates/design/design-research-club` (read 2026-10-01: meeting #1 Friday 1 June 2018, #2 Friday 2 November 2018; "Jonathan Looman, tutor, BA Interactive Media Design ... HYPERGARDEN - HedgeBlocks ... monitor and document 40 different planting combinations"); PDF creation dates above; `thegreyspace.net/projects/jonathan-looman-hypergarden-2017/` (HyperGarden at The Grey Space, garden not the KABK courtyard, KABK not mentioned). |
| Consent per werk.yaml | `vrij`. |
| Ask Jonathan | (1) 2019: the only evidence is Session 02 screenshots of 23 to 24 May 2019, none public. Was there a third meeting? (2) Row 25 says "own research question inside the design lectorate": fine as written, but the club is a forum, not a degree. Keep "shared in"? (3) Is the Greenspace17 drawing yours? |

### 26 Design for Life, De Binnentuin (2018 to now)

| | |
|---|---|
| Images chosen | `teaching-26/hero.jpg`: the finished crate spiral from above, own post 2019-10-02 (`FBX/posts/media/InstagramPhotos_.../10156817489647896.jpg`, 1440 x 1800). `row-01.jpg`: the empty courtyard before (`K03/01 Design_for_life/DesignForLife_process/IMG_6212.JPG`). `row-02.jpg`: the first S-shaped crate wall from above (`4c7afa52-....JPG`). `row-03.jpg`: spiral with irrigation hoops and rain barrels (`019BD060-....jpg`). `row-04.jpg`: crate tower with planted crates (`IMG_2003.JPG`). `row-05.jpg`: title slide "Design for Life, Interactive / Media / Design, Royal Academy of Art, The Hague" (`01 Design_for_life/Curruculum/DesignForLife-Intro.key/preview.jpg`, 1024 px). |
| Why | A before, building, finished sequence of the actual garden, shot from above or at the structure, without people. The current `photo.jpg` shows a different garden (see Verdict). |
| Flagged risks | **RES** `row-05` (1024 px preview). Chalk lettering "...JE ONGESTEL..." is on the courtyard wall in `row-01`/`row-02` (graffiti, not a name). Crates in other shots carry written student first names: avoided. Not chosen: the other ~590 process photos with students, post-it walls with names, student models, `XiaoyaoMa_toGrow.pdf` (student work). The keynote's 485 other images are stock/third party. |
| Proposed row line (106) | Design for Life: a first-year course that built a crate garden in a courtyard of the Royal Academy of Art. |
| Proposed blurb | Design for Life was a first-year course in the Interactive/Media/Design department in 2018 to 2019: five credits, two semesters of sixteen weeks, one collective project, a community garden built on the principles of regenerative agriculture and permaculture. Students composted food waste, grew plants, and built a spiral of stacked crates with irrigation, a greenhouse and an insect hotel, then opened it to students and staff of other departments. In October 2019 the garden got a greenlight for further development. In 2023 a new group of students rebuilt it. |
| Sources | Own course description "Design for Life", I/M/D, Semester 01/02 2018-2019, created 2018-11-02 (`K03/01 Design_for_life/Curruculum/2018_IMD1_sem1_DesignForLife_Jonathan Looman_v1.pdf`: objectives "working as a design collective; developing a cooperative business; create a community garden", "opening ceremony garden" in week 14); public `@kabk_gardens` 2019-04-15 (compost, greenhouse, crates), 2019-05-20 (insect hotel), 2019-07-18 ("imagined, designed, built ... cross department community building ... mental wellbeing"); own post 2019-04-25 (open call) and 2019-10-02 ("now that we have had the greenlight for the future developments and improvements"); `kabk.nl/nieuws/we-want-it-to-become-normal-to-deal-with-things-in-a-sustainable-way` (31 May 2023: "the Binnentuin, the I/M/D vertical garden, needed to be rebuild"). |
| Consent per werk.yaml | `nodig`. The chosen set has no people, so the person consent for Fanny Noel no longer applies to this row. KABK consent for the courtyard remains an institutional question. |
| Ask Jonathan | (1) Who gave the "greenlight" in October 2019? (2) Is the crate garden still standing, or was it replaced by the 2023 rebuild? (3) Which courtyard is it (Bleijenburg or Prinsessegracht)? (4) Drop "now in the institution plan" (see Correcties) or point me to the text. (5) The `lopend: true` / "2018 to now" claim: the 2026 posts are about the Makers' Garden. Do you still run De Binnentuin? |

### 27 Learning with the Garden, KABK Research Forum 2022

| | |
|---|---|
| Images chosen | `teaching-27/hero.jpg`: the Vimeo poster frame, "FAULT LINES, KABK RESEARCH FORUM, 09 DECEMBER 2022" (1280 x 718, from the public oEmbed thumbnail). `row-01.jpg`: reuse of the row 26 hero. `row-02.jpg`: reuse of the row 29 pond and bed photo. Recommended: **embed the Vimeo player**, keep stills as support. |
| Why | The talk is only available as video. The title card is public and dated. No slides survive (see No material found). |
| Flagged risks | **CRED**: the poster frame is KABK Lectorate Design's upload and shows an identity designed by Lennarts & De Bruijn, plus the names of the public speakers. Rights are KABK's. `row-02` shows the 2023 garden, not the one in the talk (unknown). |
| Proposed row line (92) | A talk on learning with the garden at the KABK Research Forum, Fault Lines, 9 December 2022. |
| Proposed blurb | On 9 December 2022 Jonathan gave the talk "Learning with the Garden" at Fault Lines, the annual research forum of the KABK Design and the Deep Future Research Group, in the academy's auditorium. It was part of the panel "Oral Histories, Stories, Gardens", next to two talks on gardens and pigments. The recording runs 8 minutes 20 seconds. |
| Sources | `kabk.nl/en/lectorates/design/fault-lines-kabk-research-forum-2022` (read 2026-10-01: Friday 9 December, KABK auditorium, panel title and talk title, "Jonathan Looman, tutor, Learning with the Garden"); Vimeo oEmbed `vimeo.com/783874224` (title "KABK Annual Research Forum 2022: Fault Lines 3.11 Jonathan Looman: Learning with the Garden", 500 s, KABK Lectorate Design, uploaded 2022-12-23). I did **not** watch the video, so the blurb says nothing about its content. |
| Consent per werk.yaml | `vrij`; the video is KABK's, so link or embed, do not copy. |
| Ask Jonathan | (1) The werk.yaml claim "the garden became a research subject instead of course material" is your framing, not in the public page. Keep it as your own sentence? (2) Do you have the slides or notes? (3) Which garden did the talk cover? |

### 29 Graduation Show 2023, photo series

| Images chosen | `teaching-29/hero.jpg`: pond, path and spiral bed with bamboo (`K03/Fanny Noel/DSC08508.jpg`). `row-01.jpg`: spiral bed with steps and tree trunk (`DSC08499`). `row-02.jpg`: pond reflecting the building (`DSC08517`). `row-03.jpg`: brick bed close-up with red bricks and bamboo (`DSC08520`). `row-04.jpg`: low view of the bed with soil and plant labels (`DSC08544`). `row-05.jpg`: bed with tree trunk and blue barrel (`DSC08549`). All 1280 x 1920 sources, no people. |
| Why | The 54 `.jpg` files (DSC08495 to DSC08557, 10:17 on 2023-07-03) are the garden itself, no people. The other 89 `.JPG` files show a woman in a white jacket harvesting corn at close range: not usable and not viewed beyond the contact sheet. |
| Flagged risks | **RES**: 1280 x 1920 sources. **Subject**: the Makers' Garden (brick beds, pond), a different garden from De Binnentuin. **Photographer**: see Ask. The two files in `Graduationshow 2023/` (DSC08751, DSC08758) show a student's wall installation and a ceramic bowl: student work, not used. |
| Proposed row line (90) | Photographs of the brick-bed Makers' Garden in the Prinsessegracht courtyard, 3 July 2023. |
| Proposed blurb | Photographs of the Makers' Garden in the academy's Prinsessegracht courtyard on 3 July 2023: spiral beds of stacked reused bricks, a pond, bamboo and plant labels. The garden is a project of students, staff and teachers, led in 2023 by a graduate and supported by the academy's Green Office. |
| Sources | EXIF of `K03/Fanny Noel/` (Sony ILCE-7M3, 2023-07-03, all 143); `@kabk_gardens` 2023-03-02 ("The maker's garden is an ongoing project for the students, staff and teachers ... taking place in the Prinsessegracht courtyard ... Currently led by @nynobo ... supported by @kabkgreenoffice"); `graduation.kabk.nl/2023/fanny-noel` (title "The Makers' Garden", per dossier 7b, not re-fetched today). |
| Consent per werk.yaml | `nodig` (Fanny Noel). If you took these yourself, the photographer consent falls away; her consent for the garden as her graduation subject and for naming her stays open. |
| Ask Jonathan | (1) Did you shoot these on 3 July 2023 with your Sony? The body serial matches your card. (2) If yes, row 29 is "my photographs of her garden", not "her photographs". (3) Is a brick garden you did not build useful for the story "continued without me", or is that claim only true for the crate garden? |

### 30 Prep year teaching since 2019

Row exists (`werk.yaml` nr 30, "Voorbereidend Jaar, docent Workgroup"). Row 28 (IST) was not in scope.

| Images chosen | `teaching-30/hero.jpg`: Double Diamond with the course weeks on the axis, 2023 (`EDU/Voorbereidend jaar/2023-2024/Week01 - Prepyear.pdf` p5, Keynote export 2024-01-09). `row-01.jpg`: "Application assignments: Raw Reality (individual) / Workgroup3 (general)" (p2). `row-02.jpg`: 2024 timeline, week 02 to week 21, admittance for bachelor departments (p4). |
| Why | Own Keynote, no students, no names, shows how the year is built. |
| Flagged risks | Thin. No photo of a class, workshop or result is free of students. Not opened: `Beoordelingen`, `Studenten CSV`, `Student_Info`, `Posters` (student names in filenames), `Fotos_VBJ2021`, `Grades_SEM1`, `Functionering/`, `2026-2027/wg-sessie02-raw-NIET-DELEN`. Course descriptions and `Workgroup ..._jl_ab_kn.pdf` are co-authored with colleagues: use their words only with their ok. `Design-Methods.png` (2019-2020) is a collage of five third-party design-process models: not used. |
| Proposed row line (107) | Part-time teaching in the Workgroup course of the preparatory year at the Royal Academy of Art, since 2019. |
| Proposed blurb | Since 2019 Jonathan teaches one day a week in the preparatory year of the Royal Academy of Art, in the Workgroup course. The course starts from the idea that "for every maker there are many forms of research": students research by making, use the academy's workshops, and keep a workbook of their process. In the first half of the year all students are mixed, in the second half they are grouped by the bachelor department they aim for. In spring 2025 he gave a class day on speculative design. |
| Sources | Course description Workgroup 2023-2024, last update 4 July 2023 (`EDU/.../2023-2024/Course Description Workgroup 2023-2024.pdf`: "At the Workgroup we research by means of making ... The workgroup has 2 parts ..."); own lesson plan "The Power of Speculative Design" (`EDU/.../2024-2025/Sem02/Speculative Design class day workshop.rtf`, `Sem02` folder; "spring 2025" is the dossier's date, not in the file); `jl-master-index.md` row 30 ("20%"), `werk.yaml` row 30 ("one day a week" follows from 20 percent, my arithmetic). kabk.nl preparatory-year page read 2026-10-01: generic, names no workgroup or teacher. |
| Consent per werk.yaml | `nodig`. Slides are own and student-free. |
| Ask Jonathan | (1) "One day a week" and "since 2019": confirm. (2) May the course description wording be quoted, given it is co-authored? (3) Any own photo of a prep-year result that a student has agreed to publish? |

## No material found

- **Photos of Connecting the Dots lessons (19):** none usable. `imdzip.zip > Connecting the dots - part01` (246 jpg/mov) not extracted (rule: manifest only), so unknown.
- **High-resolution open-day source (20):** only 1000 px portfolio exports; originals sit in `imdzip.zip` (Openday, 302 entries), not extracted.
- **Future Office (21):** no clean poster, banner or signage file; no exhibition photos without visitors beyond two booklet crops; the Facebook page `future.office.program` shows a login shell, no text.
- **Research Club (25):** no photos or notes of the club meetings themselves; Session 02 holds only your slides, student models and a floor plan with a student's name.
- **Learning with the Garden (27):** no slides, notes or script. Searched: `PRESENTATIE/`, `K03/`, `Backup_03/Hypergarden/Pres` and `Workshops`, name searches for "learning" and "fault". Video content not watched.
- **Prep year (30):** no student-free photos; no public page that names the Workgroup or you.
- **Project IMAGINE** (`PF/Project IMAGINE`): four photos of printed booklets "IMAGINE the happening / the moment / after all" (EXIF 2013-05-10). No text anywhere in memory says what it is. Not a teaching item as far as I can show. Ask: was it an I/M/D project?
- **Project Pecha Kucha** (`PF/Project Pecha Kucha`): stage photos of a Since Today presentation, presenter identifiable. Not teaching, not in `werk.yaml` (already noted in gaps-B).
- **Not opened on purpose:** `Backup_02/Documents/Prive/KABK/` (payslips and contract; I listed folder names once to see what was there, opened nothing), the 89 person photos in `Fanny Noel/` beyond the contact sheet, student folders in `EDU/Voorbereidend jaar`, Facebook DMs that matched a keyword search.

## Needs Jonathan

Volgorde van waarde.
1. **Row 29 photographer and garden.** Did you shoot the 143 photos on 3 July 2023 on your own camera, and is the brick-bed garden the successor of De Binnentuin or a separate project of Fanny's? Decides rows 26, 27 and 29 and the consent.
2. **Row 26 claims.** Remove "now in the institution plan"? And where is the crate garden today?
3. **Row 21.** Your role, and remove "future of work".
4. **Row 19 dates and break.** 2012 to 2015, the 2016 deck, and your 2018 sentence "Next year I will be teaching at I/M/D".
5. **Row 20.** Which open days (2013, 2014, 2015) and which parts you made; ok to extract `Openday/` from the zip.
6. **Row 30.** Confirm "one day a week, since 2019", quoting rules for co-authored course texts.
7. **Row 27.** Slides or notes for the talk, if they exist.
8. **Project IMAGINE.** What was it?

## Ongevraagd gespot (niet bewerkt)

- `PRESENTATIE/IMD_introduction_presentation_AUG_2018.key` (485 images, first slide "Welcome! to Den Haag, Nederland") is a Since Today showcase (Over Boeken, Pecha Kucha, REWIRE, Bright, HyperGarden). It suggests you presented your studio's work to the 2018 I/M/D intake; I did not check the slide order. Only the Greenspace drawing was used (row 25).
- `ig-archive` and the dossier carry a "52 square metres" versus "100 square metres" mismatch (already in the dossier); with two courtyards in play the two numbers may belong to the two gardens (52 m2 = crate garden per a student portfolio, 100 m2 = Prinsessegracht courtyard per the graduation essay). Hypothesis, not verified.
- The 2023-03-02 post with shortcode `CF7ivxrh4fc` ("Two years ago we started ... De Binnentuingarden ... woodchips") is an old (2020) post re-dated by the archive; the date in `kabk_gardens-posts-2026-09-02.json` for it is wrong.
- `jl-press-and-talks.md` row 85 says Future Office was "May 2014"; that is the Issuu date. The exhibition was 17 to 23 January 2014.
