A long-running system for growing food on walls, built with cultural and educational institutions. The method is kept deliberately open, documented as a wiki anyone can take over.
Recognition arrived before revenue did. It has never paid for itself.

One measurement stream out of the soil, sent to image and to sound at the same time, so an invisible system becomes something you can read. Sound by Yota Morimoto.

A video-art platform in print and online, self-funded for ten years. It did not find its market and I closed it. In 2026 I rebuilt the archive from five database dumps and the web archive.
What I keep: a structured record outlives its runtime, a presentation goes down with it.

running since 2021WhatsApp-firstbuilt with agents
An ordering platform for chefs and growers, WhatsApp-first because that is where the chefs already were. Three services, one database, seven integrations. Built and maintained with an agentic fix lane: a queue, a subagent that fixes, independent subagents that validate blind, a revert test, then a commit.
Self-service onboarding never took off. Every grower still arrives through a conversation.

A festival wristband that pays with smart contracts, so every drink routes a share to the associations behind the stage. Branding, the visitor app, the flyers and the bar terminal.

2010 to 2019magazine, app, TV, VRwith a media group
Ten years of digital product breadth with one media group: the magazine, the iPad app, television, a VR award, and a festival day with its own floor plan.

2022 to 2025pitch deck, memorandum, crowdfunding
Capital raising and market access for a malaria-prevention company: the pitch deck, the investor memorandum, the crowdfunding pages, and the brand kit underneath them.

2024four sprints, handed over
AI for health equity: four sprints from problem to a working dashboard, then handed over to the team that runs it.

teaching since 2012Royal Academy of Art
Twelve years of teaching at the Royal Academy of Art: course design, a research club on the deep future, and a garden that students took over and kept.
The garden is now in the institution plan. I am not.

Eighteen years, one list: every project, what ran, what closed, what was handed over. The ones with images above are where I would start; the rest is here so nothing is hidden.

Eighteen years of designing and building the same thing, from the first sketch into something that runs. Design and development in one person, so nothing thins out in a handover.
Remote first, async by default, in the room for the moments that need it: kickoffs, workshops, launches. Partner, not vendor.
